    Series 9D universal balancing machines for any production.

    Series 9D balancing machines are universal equipment with high accuracy (0.4 g*mm/kg), working with parts of any design. They are in demand both in repair services and in serial production. The design and program functionalities of the machines of this series provide effective solutions of problems in any sphere of production.

    All machines of the 9D series have approximately the same design, but it can vary depending on the customer’s wishes and needs when ordering.

    The standard design of the 9D Series balancing machine includes a monolithic frame, an electric drive, two vibration mounts with preresonance suspension, and a pair of axial stops (if a “belt drive” is used). The electric drive can be “belt-driven” with a drive belt or “axial” with a cardan shaft or overrunning clutch. On request, the machine can have both drives, providing maximum versatility and reliability. The machine is controlled by a control panel located in a separate control cabinet. If an “axial drive” is used, the control panel and electrical equipment are located in the “tailstock. The electrical equipment is made in industrial design with respect to safety requirements. It includes a frequency converter used for infinitely variable speed control of the drive and safety of the electrical equipment.

    The 9D series balancing machines can be balanced:

    • Inter-support parts of the “shaft” type;
    • Cantilever parts ( the center of mass of the part is located on one side behind the supports) ;
    • Single-plane parts of the “disk” type without their own bearing journals (for balancing use a technological mandrel);
    • Parts assembled with their own bearings.

    To determine the magnitude and position of the unbalance in dynamic mode, force sensors installed in the vibratory supports and a speed sensor are used. The voltage from the sensors is converted into digital signals which are transmitted to the balancing system’s calculation unit. The signals are analyzed by sophisticated algorithms and converted into understandable information for the machine operator. This information is displayed on the balancer’s screen or computer, depending on the system used. Two ready-to-use systems are available: PB-02M based on microprocessor technology and PAK-1, working with computer and touch-screen. It is possible to make a unique system adapted to your needs by special order.

     

    • The special design of the pre-resonant hanger allows heavy parts with large initial unbalance to be balanced with high accuracy;
    • Narrow rollers and roller cassettes make it possible to balance parts with short support journals or where access is restricted due to the close proximity of other structural elements of the part;
    • The roller cassettes feature a “micro-tuning mechanism” which effectively prevents component misalignment when the machine is in operation (threading effect). This speeds up the set-up process and reduces the possibility of “knurling” on the journals.
    • Height and design of the support and support rollers allow safe balancing of large parts of any construction;
    • The “MOVING ROLLER” design of the “axial stops” and the ability to adjust the belt tensioning forces by the “belt drive” ensure high-precision balancing without errors.

    Functions of the PAK-1 balancing system:

    • Calculation of “allowable unbalance”, “test weight” and “drilling depth” will eliminate the need to perform complex mathematical calculations and make the job easier;
    • Vector averaging will improve accuracy and shorten the measurement cycle by combining differently directed unbalance vectors into a single vector;
    • Equalized eccentricity will filter out tooling vibration from that of the balanced part, allowing even unbalanced or asymmetrical tooling to be operated;
    • Distribution of unbalance to design points (grooves, blades, etc.) if the design of the part limits unbalance correction points;
    • Division of unbalance into n correction planes allows the division of the correction weight into several smaller weights and volumes if the space for its installation is limited;
    • Creating and printing a balance report eliminates any questioning of the quality of the balancing operation.
