Rational choice : DBST-10 turbocharger cartridge test and balancing machine
The low-speed cartridge balancer satisfies the needs of turbocharger repair workshops. It is multifunctional and versatile, so it is suitable for a large number of common turbochargers of trucks and cars. It is also suitable for repairing turbochargers of special vehicles and even some boats.
The machine is used for :
- Balancing technological imbalance after the cartridge assembly;
- Checking for oil leakage;
- Running-in of the assembled cartridge at safe speeds;
- Checking the quality of the cartridge assembly in bench mode.
The equipment includes a high-sensitivity torsion suspension with a universal system for mounting cartridges of different types and sizes. The turbocharger cartridges are connected to the oil system, which, under pressure, supplies heated oil to create an “oil wedge” in the gaps between the parts. The turbocharger shaft is driven by compressed air through the pneumatic system.
Vibration is measured by a vibration sensor placed under the torsion bar, and the rotation speed by a photo-sensor mounted on a stand that is mounted on the bench table. Information from the sensors is processed in the balancing system, which is located in the control cabinet. also located in it a remote control and LCD screen for outputting and entering information and control stand.
In addition to its high precision (0,4 g*mm/kg) the balancing bench is highly productive, therefore it is used not only in repair shops but also by manufacturers involved in mass production of turbochargers. Moreover the ability to control and correct the vibration level of the assembled turbocharger enables even non professional turbocharger repair dealers to reject turbochargers with high vibration levels.
