Universal machine for balancing screws of all manufacturers 9D716A
The Model 9D716A is a universal pre-resonance machine specializing in auger balancing up to 500 kg. It is widely used in agricultural equipment repair companies and farms with large fleets of special equipment. Although this machine is popular because it specializes in balancing augers, it is also effective at balancing other parts for farming machinery.
With the 9D716A, you can balance these parts:
- Auger;
- Threshing drum;
- Crusher rotor;
- Combine chopper shaft;
- Combine rotors;
- Combine gas pedal drum;
- Combine variator;
- Shredder shaft with knives;
- Beaters;
- Reels, gears, discs, pulleys and much more.
The 9D716A is part of the 9D series and has the same design and features (you can find out more on our website under 9D). However, it does have characteristic features. For example, the force sensors in the 9D716A have a coarser sensitivity. This is done intentionally so that the machine can handle parts with very high initial unbalance. More important in this case is the ability to handle such parts than the absolute accuracy of the machine, although the accuracy remains high. The balancing accuracy class of agricultural parts is G16 (according to ISO 1940-1 : 2003), once sensors are loaded, the machine can handle parts of class G1, which is good enough for all your applications except balancing precision spindles of grinding machines or gyroscopes. However, the sensitivity of the sensors can be increased if necessary.
The second feature of the 9D716A is that the balancing system starts measuring at 400 rpm instead of 600 rpm. This is due to the fact that augers for transporting grain usually have a long length and low stiffness. At speeds above 600 rpm imbalance causes the auger bending under the influence of centrifugal force and gravity, which leads to oscillation and increased vibration. This makes it difficult to adjust and balance the auger properly. You solve this problem at the ordering stage of the machine.
